Naomi Aubain, the owner of Furniture Fixitor, has over 25 years of experience in cabinetmaking, custom woodwork, and furniture restoration. She started as a partner in a small custom cabinetmaking shop in Brooklyn, NY, specializing in built-in bedrooms and kitchens. Later, she worked in architectural woodworking shops and freelanced for the South Street Seaport Museum in New York City.
Naomi and her family then moved to New Paltz, NY, where she downsized to a smaller shop specializing in fixing furniture. She quickly became established with the local antique dealers and residents as a reliable and accessible resource for all types of furniture repair and renewal.
