19TH CENTURY CHAIR : Back needed extensive repair
ANTIQUE HOOSIER : Bottom cabinet needed major repair after flying out of the trailer when being moved. Both right side feet, and numerous other places needed wood replacements, along with dozens of glue repairs. The left hand door was also repaired and re-glued. Luckily the drawers were not in the cabinet when it fell, but they too needed to be repaired and fitted. Everything was stained to match. The cabinet ended up super sturdy and in great working order. It was then reunited with the marble counter and top cabinet.
ANTIQUE SETTEE : The arm and spindles needed to be re-attached, along with a wheel on the foot.
ANTIQUE ROCKER : Platform and seat repaired, and reupholstered
CAPTAIN'S CHAIR : New dowel fabricated and legs re-glued
DANISH DINING TABLE : Veneer repaired on table and leaves, then refinished
OAK TABLE : Fabricated new foot, glued numerous cracks, repaired hardware settings
VANITY STOOL : Joints were re-glued, along with a cracked seat support and missing hardware.
ROSEWOOD CHAIRS: Set of 6 dining room chairs had various repairs, new upholstery
and a fresh finish
CANED ROCKER: Back was re-caned along with minor repairs to frame. The 'working' side looks neat and clean as well.
TEAK LAWN CHAIR : New wood was spliced onto the leg to re-attach the hinge, and the original teak wood was restored.
ROUND SEAT ROCKER : Broken post and back repaired, seat secured
OAK SECRETARY : This drop leaf desk was repaired and refinished. The client wanted to create inside space for a laptop and asked to have the compartments and dark stain removed.
ROSE TOP CHAIR : Re-caned woven seat, replaced broken bottom rung, renewed finish
LADDER BACK CHAIR : Wove new binder cane seat, replaced broken and missing front rungs, renewed finish
DESK NIGHTSTAND CONVERSION : Pine desk with 'character' was converted to a nightstand with a side drop leaf option. A clever way for a college student to keep enjoying her beloved furniture.
